Cui Yuying: Better conveying the story of China's human rights development to the world

Cui Yuying, vice head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and vice minister of the State Council Information Office, presided over a meeting held in Beijing on Nov. 25.

The meeting focused on studying and implementing the results of the Forum on Human Rights Publicity Work, which was held in Beijing on Oct. 17.

Cui pointed out that departments and organizations of all levels should thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on China's human rights development and grasp the importance of human rights publicity work in accordance with Liu Qibao's remarks at the forum.

Cui said that the spirit of the human rights forum should be carried out in the government's daily work to fully demonstrate progress in China's human rights situation and better convey the story of China's human rights development to the world.

More than 40 people attended the meeting. They included representatives from the central and state departments, major central media outlets, state human rights education and training bases, and local foreign affairs offices.
