The third World Internet Conference is taking place in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province, from Nov. 16 to Nov. 18.

With the theme of "Innovation-driven Internet Development for the Benefit of All -- Building a Community of Common Future in Cyberspace", the conference will be composed of forums, an expo and a release event.

More than 310 technology corporations, including big-name enterprises such as Microsoft, IBM, Alibaba, Tencent and Baidu, are sending delegates to Wuzhen this year.

The conference will include 16 forums covering 20 hot issues, such as internet economy, internet innovation, internet culture, governance in cyberspace and international cooperation on internet.

The newly built Wuzhen Internet International Convention Center will host most of the events this year. The new convention center will showcase the latest innovations and technological developments in the internet, and it has been designated as the permanent venue for the global event.
