Jiang Jianguo, minister of the State Council Information Office (SCIO), met with a Swiss media delegation that includes Matthias Meuller, New Zurich Newspaper's Beijing correspondent, Laura Daverio, Swiss Italian Television's Beijing correspondent, Martin Aldrovadi, Swiss German Radio's Shanghai correspondent, Pascal Nufer, Swiss German Television and Radio's Shanghai correspondent on Jan. 4, in Beijing.

"The friendly cooperation between China and Switzerland has been growing, and the press of the two countries have maintained a steady relationship through exchanges and visits," Jiang said. He also hoped that China and Switzerland would further strengthen cooperation in all aspects.

Members of the Swiss media delegation said that they will introduce China in a more comprehensive and objective way, and contribute to the development of the bilateral relations.
