The Tibet Development Forum has started in the region's capital, Lhasa. More than 130 researchers, officials and correspondents from more than 30 countries and regions have attended the forum.
The agenda will focus on the new phase of Tibet's development, including the discussion of entrepreneurship and industrial modernization in the region, preserving tradition, environmental protection and poverty relief.
The two-day event is hosted by the State Council Information Office and the Tibetan regional government. And it is the second of its kind since its launch in 2014.
